The Samsung Galaxy watch is about to be launched, with the model sporting the internal codename ‘Beyond 1’. What does it mean? Well, the Beyond will be the company’s first flagship smartwatch.
Samsung plans to launch the smartwatch in several variants with varying specs, including a touchscreen and built-in LTE connectivity. We have already seen many details of the Galaxy Watch, including display size, design, and run time.
It is expected to be released in two screen sizes and a series of colors. It is expected to be revealed at IFA Berlin 2018, the world’s biggest consumer electronics trade show that takes place in August.

Can you put a sim card in it and use it without Bluetooth?
Answer:
Depends on what version you get. In the Bluetooth version, you have to have your phone near it. The LTE version is more expensive but can use the watch completely separate from the phone. If you want to get calls and text on the go, while your phone is at the house, you MUST buy the LTE version

Question:
Does this come with a charger or charging dock?
Answer:
It kind of awkwardly sits on top of this weak magnetic disk to charge. Thankfully you can just charge it with your phone if you have a newer Galaxy S, and I wouldn’t be surprised if other SΛMSUNG charging pads worked as well ( but don’t quote me on this!). The watch does not have a USB port, so it can only be charged

I can with my s3 frontier.. I saw someone say they can charge it off their phone with Power share so I assume you can….. Again I do and can with my s3 frontier

do you know the difference between the US version and the International version?
Answer:
The international version does not have Samsung Pay.
That’s the only difference that I know of.

I preordered this and I see people say you get a charger for it. Does it come with a watch? If not how do I get one?

Yes, there is a small disk charging pad that comes with the watch. I didn’t find it in the box at first and was upset, but later realized I am an idiot because it is packaged inside the cardboard cylinder the watch is wrapped around.

No, they removed the microphone and speaker. The was on the older bigger watch that had a rotating bezel. You will need an earpiece. I think I have only used mine (the older model) twice for phone calls. I use the cars Bluetooth connection to the phone a LOT more but you have to start the call when the car is not mo… see more
